Treasure hunt
The treasure hunt concept is growing in popularity. It can more generally be called varieties of adventures, organized entertainment in the city. Maybe "adventure" is a strong word, but it certainly helps in the fight against boredom. We remember what is a "something-finder" right? However, in the case of 'treasure' hunters, the tasks are set by the organizers. Other participants may not know each other, they may have come upon the game on the web, but anyway follow some guidelines and resolve some puzzles. Or participate in the race. Or be navigated by GPS coordinates. Sometimes they form teams. I, myself have organized several times, a search for books by pictures of parts of the environment in which they are hidden. And as on one hand I was against the waste of time and energy so that I could keep my promises in advance ... on the other hand I was rewarded with the comments of the players. At times I witnessed a show being played simultaneously online and in real space. In fact, modern means of navigation are quite well integrated in such outdoor games.
The good thing is that anyone who has free time, have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the particle, otherwise reserved for participants in game shows such as "Fort Boayar", "Survivor" or characters from books like "Harry Potter in. .." , "Da Vinci Code", the stories of Sherlock Holmes and others. Well, do not expect the initiators of small urban adventures have required imagination and erudition of authors such as Arthur Conan Doyle, but on the other hand the real and unexpected opportunities or actions of players create surprises. It is not to be underestimated that which groweth in the office. Or, as compressed under pressure in that first and just waiting to tip the most heroic manner at the least opportunity.
Sometimes treasure hunting is a real RPG. I was recently invited to follow such a lasting a month. It was a script associated with the wonderful story of Roger Zelazny "One night in October lonely." Fans of the book immersion in the roles of creatures with supernatural powers, racing to collect "magic ingredients and relics" with which to unleash or bar the gateway to the dimension of the old gods in Halloween. As an additional condition in the game, players should not have to disclose their affiliation with either party to the other, which bring items of trust against disbelief.
So one night I set out after one of the players in search of ... things. But someone was ahead of us. Frames filmed then deliberately ported by software so as to provide a strong contrast black and white images of the contours and silhouettes. My goal was to mimic the illustrations from books or comics riddles.
Even so you'll recognize the places, but I hope to experience in a new way. After the treasure hunt man realizes how much better use could be perceived physical dimensions of every street, every corner, square or park.
